    Restaurants Offer Gift Card Deals for the Holidays

    Many popular chain restaurants are offering deals to entice customers to purchase gift cards for the holidays.

    The website Offers.com compiled a list of some of the deals that are out there for the holiday season, including bonus cards and freebies.

    Disclaimer: The best advice before purchasing a gift card is to check with your local store to make sure they are offering and participating in these particular deals.  You also want to make sure that you understand the restrictions on any bonus deals.

    Most of the deals are good for purchases made by Dec. 30 or Dec. 31.  Many of the bonus cards expire sometime in the first quarter of 2018, with some freebies expiring as early as Jan. 31.

    Here is a look at some of the deals available:

    • Bertucci's: Purchase a $25 e-gift card by Dec. 25 and receive a $5 bonus card.
    • Black Angus Steakhouse: Purchase $50 in gift cards by Dec. 31 and receive $10 in bonus bucks.
    • Blaze Pizza: Get a free Pizza Pass with a $25 gift card purchase.  Pass is valid through March 1, 2018.
    • Boston Market: Free $5 card with $25 gift card purchase, through Dec. 31.  Bonus card is valid until Jan. 31.
    • Brio Tuscan Grille: Receive a $25 bonus card for every $100 in gift cards purchased by Dec. 30, 2017.  The bonus card is valid through March 15.
    • Buffalo Wild Wings: Free $5 e-bonus with a $25 gift card purchase.  e-Bonus valid through Feb. 28.
    • California Pizza Kitchen: Get a free $20 bonus card with every $100 gift card purchase.  Bonus card valid through Feb. 25.
    • Chili's: Purchase a $50 gift card and get a free $10 holiday bonus card with it.  Bonus card valid through Feb. 7, 2018.
    • Chipotle: Through Dec. 24, buy $30 in gift card purchases and get a coupon for a buy one/get one deal redeemable before Dec. 31.
    • Chuck E. Cheese's: Through Dec. 26, get 100 free tickets with a $25 gift card purchase.  You can get 250 free tickets with a $50 gift card purchase and 500 free tickets with a $50 gift card purchase.
    • Cold Stone Creamery: With the purchase of $30 in gift cards online, get a free $5 bonus card.
    • Dave & Busters: Buy a $75 gift card and get $10 in free game play through Mar. 31.
    • Denny's: For every $25 in gift card purchases through Dec. 25, receive $50 in Denny's coupons.
    • Fleming's: Receive $20 bonus card for every $100 in gift cards purchased.
    • Hometown Buffet: Get a $5 bonus certificate for every $30 gift card purchase.
    • IHOP: For every $25 gift card purchase, receive a $5 coupon vaild through Jan. 31.
    • Mooyah: Receive $5 off your food and beverage instantly when buying $25 in gift cards in-store.  Valid through Dec. 31.
    • Noodles & Company: Receive $5 bonus card with every $25 in gift cards bought by Dec. 31.  Bonus cards good until Jan. 16.
    • Olive Garden: Receive a $10 bonus card with every $50 in gift cards purchased.  Bonus cards valid through Mar. 31.
    • Panera Bread: For every $50 in gift cards purchased, receive a $10 bonus card. Bonus cards are good until Jan. 22.
    • P.F. Chang's: Receive a $20 reward card with the purchase of $100 in gift cards.  Bonus reward card good through Mar. 31.
    • Potbelly Sandwich Shop: Recceive a free sandwich with a $25 gift card purchase.  The free sandwich tickets will expire Jan. 31.
    • Red Robin: Receive a $5 bonus card for every $25 gift card purchase.  Bonus card valid through Jan. 28.
    • Shake Shack: Receive a free $5 Shake Back Card with every $25 gift card purchase.  Cards are valid only at participating locations and cannot be combined.
    • TGI Friday's: For every $25 in gift cards, receive a Bonus Bites card.
