Teddy Bear Party Will Benefit CCMC

Hartford restaurant MAX Downtown is hosting a holiday tea party to inspire giving in the community.

The 5th Annual Max Teddy Bear Tea Party, held for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, will be on Saturday, Dec. 7 at MAX Downtown on Asylum St.

Connecticut families are invited to the event to support the Medical Center, and share holiday treats and teas with one another. Children are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to pass on to the Medical Center’s patients during the holiday season. They will also receive signature MAX Teddy Bears to take home.

The tea party will feature live music, a cupcake station and a candy buffet. Rainbow swirl bread will also be sold. All proceeds will go directly to the Medical Center.

“Connecticut Children’s Medical Center plays a critical role in the care of children throughout the state,” MAX Downtown Partner Steve Abrams said in a release, “and this is one of the many ways we say thank you.”

The tea party will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 185 Asylum St in Hartford.

Tickets are $30 per adult and $25 per child, and can be purchased at MAX Downtown or online.
