The Hartford Yard Goats will give away fidget spinners before an upcoming game. The fidget spinner giveaway, just recently unveiled as an update to the Yard Goats' 2017 promotional schedule, will take place on Tuesday, June 13 as part of the game against the Trenton Thunder.
It was already expected to be a popular game since the Thunder are the AA-affiliate of the New York Yankees. Now, expect a rush to get to Dunkin' Donuts Park when the gates open.
The game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The gates are scheduled to open at 6 p.m.
The team is planning to have blue and green spinners, each with the Yard Goats logo.
"I see [kids around the ballpark] with generic ones so I think those will go really fast," said Dana Feigenbaum, the Yard Goats' promotions manager.
If you want a fidget spinner for your kids, make sure you get there early.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The fidget spinner giveaway is good for the first 1,000 kids age 12 and under.
