Each year cince 1979, Ben & Jerry’s has given out free ice cream on free cone day and mouths are already watering for the global event on Tuesday.
It‘s been a chilly April here in Connecticut so far, but Mother Nature is delivering Spring weather at just the right time for ice cream lovers.
The forecast for Free Cone Day, April 9, is a high of 76 inland and 70 at the shore.
There are seven Ben & Jerry’s shops in Connecticut, but the Milford shop is not participating.
