“Deal or No Deal” models Lindsay Clubine and Katie Cleary have partnered with New England Mercury dealerships to participate in some rather unconventional wedding planning.
Clubine, the fiancée of Boston Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz, embarked today on the “Follow Me to Bliss” challenge to find the area’s ultimate wedding resources. Alongside her best friend, the two-day road trip will consist of a series of physical and wedding related events as the dynamic duo prepares for the autumn “I Do’s”
In Boston, they'll try to toss a wedding bouquet over the Green Monster in Fenway Park, as fully dressed future brides have a chance to win a pair of Red Sox tickets. Other challenges include playing in a whiffle ball homerun derby in New Hampshire and a hula-hoop competition in Maine.
The girls will ride in style on their 500-mile road trip in a 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid, which they have affectionately named “Millie,” and update their Twitters along the way.
One of Lindsay’s tweets says, “Driving 2 Burlington, VT 2 meet up w Katie for our NE Roadtrip adventure! I can't wait 2 party Thursday night after our trip in Mystic, CT!”
That’s right, the bride-to-be and her made of honor will be right here in CT at the Mystic Aquarium celebrating the end of their journey-- the way a bachelorette should!
