Summertime is here, that means trips to the beach, arts festivals and just spending time with the family.
If a low-cost family activity is something you’re looking for you might want to head to Mystic this weekend. It’s the 52nd annual Outdoor Art Festival in historic downtown Mystic.
Hundreds of artists and dozens of crafters will be showing their talents. From oil paints to water colors and even handmade clothing, you’ll find unique items. The Mystic Times dubs it two miles of art. It’s not too early to start your holiday shopping.
For the little ones, you’ll find children’s art activities and lots of food.
If you’re heading to Mystic, you need to know there are parking restrictions and road closures in place. Groton police say the restrictions begin at 4 a.m. on Saturday and run through Sunday night at 9 p.m.
