A broken water valve in a 30th floor stairwell pipe forced fire crews to pump water from several floors of the hotel. The break happened sometime after 4:30 p.m.
Foxwoods spokesperson Sanda Rios said the water was contained to the stairwells but had flowed down as far as the 26th floor. Rios says guest services were never affected and some guests were moved temporarily as a precaution to floors not affected by the flooding.
Rios says maintenance crews have replaced the broken valve and mopped up the water.
