A Stamford resident made an upsetting discovery Saturday afternoon.
According to police, the body of a 50-year-old man was found floating in the water at Cove Island Park at around 3 p.m.
Investigators do not suspect the man was victim of a homicide. It appears the man drove to the park and was found with his coat and headphones on, said police.
The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death. The identity of the man has not been released.
