Bridget Moynahan, Anna Quindlen Headline Women's Day At Travelers

Women's Day is on Thursday, June 21, at TPC River Highlands.

Bridget Moynahan and best-selling author Anna Quindlen are coming to the Travelers Championship in Cromwell next month.

Quindlen will keynote the Women’s Day Breakfast on Thursday, June 21, at TPC River Highlands.

Moynahan will be the keynote speaker for the Women’s Day Lunch.

Moynahan has been in “I, Robot,” “Sex and the City,” “Coyote Ugly,” “Serendipity,” and “The Recruit.”

Quindlen has written best-selling novels, including "One True Thing", “A Short Guide to a Happy Life,” which has sold more than a million copies, and more. She has worked at The New York Times, where she won a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary, and Newsweek, where she wrote a bi-weekly column “Thinking Out Loud.”
 
The Women’s Day Breakfast will begin at 7 a.m.

At 8 a.m., Quindlen will speak about her life and career and take questions from the audience.

The Women’s Day Lunch program will begin at noon and Moynahan will discuss her career and her support of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

Tickets for the breakfast and lunch events will be sold separately and will go on sale on Tuesday, May 29, at 9 a.m. on TravelersChampionship.com.

The cost for the breakfast is $35. The cost of the lunch is $50.

Both tickets include a general admission ticket to the tournament as well. The limit per person is four tickets.
 
All women who purchase a tournament ticket to the Travelers Championship for Thursday can part in a golf clinic at the tournament’s practice facility, receive tours of the Golf Channel studio, get preferred bleacher seating and 10 percent off the official merchandise tent, and can participate in one of the tours of the golf course, where a TPC River Highlands professional will show the best places to watch the tournament.
 
The Travelers Championship will be held June 18 to 24.
