Brits Ahoy in Woodstock!

From Wiltshire to Woodstock, with love.

JUST A SPOT OF TEA... Hankering for some Prince Harry? Well, we can't really promise you that, but we can tell you were to get your fix of British goodies here in Connecticut. Mrs. Bridges' Pantry is owned by Straffordshire (that's in England) and New York transplants and not only offers full tea services but is stocked full of all the Aero bars, HobNobs, and curries your heart desires. Visit on 292 Route 169 in South Woodstock, and call ahead of tea reservations: 860-963-7040.

PLENTIFUL AND PRINTED... Over in New Canaan, Lisa Barfuss and her team is creating preppy by pattern pieces that will make your inner Charlotte York proud. Barfuss's line, Skirtin' Around, is full of playful toppers, tailored frocks, and suiting skirts in over-sized geometric prints. We can't get enough of her Bell Sleeve Cotton Coat in Tan and Black Trellis ($276). Visit her store at 33 East Avenue or order online.

IN THE MOUSE HOUSE... We never were big fans of the Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats that rose to pre-teen fame a few years back. But now that he's transposed his cutesy animals to ring form, we can't help but fall in love. Onyx and glass with rhinestone embellishments and a painted nose - so tacky, it's adorable and under $90. Order online or in store at Plaza Too in Westport, 203-454-7419.
