The brother of a man who pleaded guilty on child molestation charges is asking a judge to put his brother in prison for as long as possible.
Hank Stanco told the Waterbury Republican American that he loves his brother, David, but knows he will molest again if released.
Stanko says he hopes to convince a Bantam Superior Court judge to put his brother in prison for as long as possible during a sentencing hearing in February.
Last month, David Stanco, 57, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy he met while teaching a religious education class in Thomaston.
He could spend five to eight years in prison under terms of his plea agreement.
