Brown Makes 2nd Team All-American

Just like his yardage this year, the honors keep piling up for UConn junior running back Donald Brown.  Brown was named to the Associated Press All-American second team on Tuesday.

Brown was already named the Big East's offensive player of the year.  He is the nation's leading rusher, averaging just over 151 yards per game.   He has accumulated 1,822 yards on the season and scored 17 touchdowns.

The two running backs that were named to the first team are Shonn Greene of Iowa and Javon Ringer of Michigan State.  Joining Brown on the second team is Knowshon Moreno of Georgia.

Brown and the Huskies have one more game this season, the International Bowl on January 3 in Toronto, Canada.  They will play the University of Buffalo.
