Connecting You to Old Saybrook PD Thanksgiving Food Drive

NBC Connecticut is proud to connect you to the Old Saybrook Police Department’s Thanksgiving Food Drive. The Old Saybrook Police Department will be collecting non-perishable food, frozen turkeys and monetary donations at the Old Saybrook Stop & Shop on 105 Elm Street Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20 from 9am – 5pm.

The food collected will go directly to families in Old Saybrook for their Thanksgiving meals. There are 200 hundred families in Old Saybrook who count on this event to have a warm holiday meal for their families. After local needs are met, the remainder of the collection is sent to the CT Food Bank that supplies soup kitchens and food pantries all over the state of Connecticut this holiday season. Collected items for Thanksgiving will be distributed Monday and Tuesday at the Police Department.
