Mrs. Bridges Pantry, a British-themed speciality shop in Woodstock, has replicated Prince William's groom's cake, crafted with his favorite ingredients: McVittes biscuits, dark chocolate and Lyles golden syrup.
Owner Pamela Spaeth has been deluged with requests for items like royal English China and a Victorian cake stand, and told WTNH that the only remaining wedding-related piece in the store is a single tea pot featuring the celebrated couple. Mrs. Bridges Pantry is one of the few authentic British tea shops in the state, and they serve traditional lunch fare like chicken and pork pot pie and dessert items like strawberry and rhubarb crumble.
