Sorry Kathy Griffin fans – this ain't no joke.
The comedian was slated to perform at Wallingford’s Chevrolet Theatre this Saturday, April 25, but has postponed a series of shows, including this one, because of an illness.
The actor and stand-up comedian, who relishes being on the self-proclaimed “D-List", has “severe strep-throat” according to her web site.
On Griffin's Twitter page, she said, "O sh*t, I have an ass kicking case of strep throat..." and also announced that her next three shows would be postponed.
The performance is re-scheduled for Sunday, August 30. Disgruntled fans can return their tickets before the date if they so choose.
Griffin currently stars on Bravo's reality show "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List." The show is currently filming its fifth season.
