Dave Matthews has always had a huge fan base in Connecticut, and he is rewarding those fans with an acoustic show this November.
Matthews will be joined by his long-time friend and collaborator, Tim Reynolds for a show at the Oakdale Theatre Nov. 19. It is one of just two shows that pair has announced. The other show is scheduled for New York City.
Reynolds has toured with the Dave Matthews Band off and on for the better part of two decades, and just wrapped up shows with the Dave Matthews Band Caravan this summer.
The pair has released three live albums together, including Live at Luther College, Live at Radio City and Live in Las Vegas.
The announcement of the show in Wallingford is welcomed news for fans. The Dave Matthews Band didn't tour this summer for the first time in nearly two decades. The band has made Hartford a regular stop on their summer tours throughout the years.
This summer, Dave Matthews Band put together three-day music festivals in four cities, and headlined each night of the festival.
Tickets for the show at The Oakdale go on sale to the general public Oct. 29. They will cost $65-$85.
