Rig Up the Lights at the Dazzle Light Parade

The holiday season is here and if you are so smart that you can "rig up the lights," then the Holiday Dazzle Light Parade Is the place to be.

The eighth annual parade is scheduled for Sunday, November 29. The fun starts at 5 p.m. in downtown Putnam.

You can expect holiday lights, floats, bands and lots of community groups.

The route is 1.5 miles long and it's described as "a festive, fun-filled, illuminated holiday parade to celebrate the community spirit of the season!"

According to the parade committee, "lights are the most important part of this event. The more the merrier, the brighter the better!"

Perhaps one of the best parts of the parade is that it's free, so you won't have to face "5 months of bills" just to attend.

The rain date is Sunday, Dec. 6.
