Discount shopping just got better in Berlin.
Filene’s Basement has moved into the Sym’s Clothing site on the Berlin Turnpike, to create one mega discount store. The grand opening was held today.
The combination stores are also open in Hartford, Fairfield and Norwood, Massachusetts, according to the Syms/Filene’s Basement Web site.
In June, Sym’s bought the bankrupt Filene’s including 23 stores, according to Sym’s financial documents.
