Geremy Davis to Play in All-Star Game

Davis will get a chance to showcase his talents at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

Geremy Davis didn't have much of a senior season, but that had more to do with the Huskies' sputtering offense than his play-making abilities. But the wide receiver will get a chance to showcase his talents at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl this Saturday, which will take place at the StubHub Center on the campus of Cal State-Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif.

Details via the UConn press release:

The game features an American team against a National team and Davis has not yet been assigned to a squad.

Former NFL head coaches Mike Holmgren and Mike Martz will serve as the head coaches.

The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl practices and game will be broadcasted live on the ESPN family of channels. The game, scheduled for 4 p.m. ET kickoff, will air live on ESPN2. In addition, American and National Team practices on January 14 and 15 will be televised live on ESPNU. The game and practices will also be available via WatchESPN.

Davis was the Huskies' most prolific pass catcher during the FBS era. In 2013, he hauled in 71 passes for 1,085 yards and three touchdowns.
