Get Your ‘Foxx Fix' this Summer

Jamie Foxx is an academy award-winning actor, stand-up comedian, sought after emcee, radio host and an R&B artist. And you thought you could multi-task!

Foxx certainly is a busy man these days, especially with his 50-city tour. He brings it to Mohegan Sun, where he performs live on Aug. 21. It is one of Foxx's only two East Coast shows.

His new CD, “Intuition,” has sold more than 850,000 copies and reached the top three on the U.S. Billboard 200 album charts. If that’s not enough for you, the album has also ranked #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop album charts, where it has remained for six consecutive weeks.

The entertainment connoisseur joined forces with some unbeatable guest artists, including Lil Wayne, Timbaland, Kanye West, T-Pain and T.I. Together, these hip-hop homies try to answer one of life’s biggest mysteries: What do women want?

“On my radio show, I have this panel of beautiful women and they were talking about how men with a lot of money aren’t all that. But if a guy has no money, that’s no good either. So I was thinking, ‘What does a woman want? We go from there and build the story and the songs.” Foxx told BET.

If you simply can’t wait until the end of the summer to get your Foxx fix, see him on ABC’s Good Morning America on June 19, where he will perform his hit single “Blame It.” (Then flip back to NBC.)

You can also watch him host the BET awards on June 28.

Foxx's frisky harmony, sultry lyrics and upbeat rhythm will have club-goers dancing all summer long. So make sure you dance on over to Mohegan Sun this August.

Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday at 10 a,m and will cost you anywhere from $70 to $95.
