Restaurants throughout Connecticut's Greater Valley, an area comprised of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton, have signed up to participate in the area's inaugural Restaurant Week from October 3-7. Diners will be able to choose from $9 prix fixe lunches and $20.11 multi-course dinners at diverse group of local restos including Aribella's, Coaster's Tap & Grill, Il Palio, Oolee Cafe, Vazzy's Brick Oven, Antonio's, Crave, John J. Sullivans, Full Harvest Bar and Grill, Hot Tamale Mexican Grill and La Scogliera.
The Greater Valley area has experienced a bit of a culinary renaissance of late. Many of these restaurants, particularly Crave and Il Palio, are very well-regarded. The deep discounts should help introduce Fairfield County and New Haven locals to this burgeoning foodie scene.
