Walk with NBC Connecticut on Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Greater Hartford Heart Walk at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, sponsored by the American Heart Association. NBC Connecticut reporter Catalina Trivino will be serving as emcee of this event.
Friends and family are encouraged to walk together to celebrate their heart-health or re-commit to taking better care of themselves. Joining more than a million people in 300 cities across America, walkers can commit to taking a stand against heart disease and stroke. Walkers can register online or at the event to participate. Registration is free.
