Lighting Up Hope

The town of Cheshire is preparing for another night of hope,  lighting up the center of town with thousands of luminaries.

More than 150 volunteers showed up Friday to help prepare ten thousand candles and bags.  Those lights will line Route 10 on December 6th.  And another ninety thousand lights will be placed throughout Cheshire.

Cheshire's Lights of Hope was first held last year in memory of the Petit family.   It raised 125 thousand dollars for the Petit Family Foundation.  This year, organizers are going to spread the money raised among several charities.
