Local Musicians Perform at Blue Back

It might be another sign that summer is around the corner.

Local bands will rock and roll a free summer concert series at  West Hartford’s Blue Back Square on Wednesday nights.

The first performance is Tony Harrington on June 3. The Hartford native starting performing at a young age: forming a gospel group with his cousin, according to his Web site.

Next up on June 10: The Colby’s. They describe themselves as an R&B/Jazz influenced party band. Members of the band include John Colby, the composer of hundreds of TV sports themes including ESPN’s Sportcenter and Bev Rohlehr, who has performed with the National Jazz Ensemble.
