Did you see what happened on Whitney Avenue in Hamden early on the morning of November 8?
That's when a Quinnipiac student was hit and left lying on the sidewalk with head injuries.
Hamden police believe the mini-van that hit Robert Aliano, 21 of Miller Place, NY, was a silver or gray 1993-95 Nissan Quest or Mercury Villager. The vehicle might have damage to the right front headlamp or turn signal lamp.
Aliano remains in critical condition at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Aliano is the third person to be hit by a car in that area in the past year and a half.
