Police arrested a North Haven mother Monday after her 2-year-old son was found outside wearing only a diaper.
A driver spotted the boy just before 1 p.m. Monday on Skiff Street, picked him up and knocked on a nearby door, police said. When no one answered, the driver called police.
Officers found the child's mother sleeping inside the home, police said. The woman, whose name has not been released, was arrested on charges including reckless endangerment.
The Department of Children and Families is now investigating.
