Party Poolside with Snoop and JWoww

FRIDAY-SATURDAY
Double Down: Snoop Dogg kicks off a busy casino weekend with a First Friday Pool Party at the MGM Grand Pool at Foxwoods. Snoop's hitting the road this summer in support of his March release Doggumentary, which debuted respectably at number 8 on the Billboard 200. For a sample, check out the track "Wet" that he produced for Prince William's bachelor party. Cover is $25. He also takes the stage at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods on Saturday, and tickets are $30-$50.

FRIDAY-MONDAY
Vintage Racing: Jaguar Cars is hosting the Historic Festival 29, a full weekend of races, parades and display vehicles at Lime Rock Park. You'll see sprint races in ten groups comprised of Pre-WWII automobiles, Formula Atlantic/Formula 2 cars, hundreds of MGs and countless Jaguars. Daily tickets are $45 at the gate. 9 a.m.

SATURDAY
Idol Chatter: American Idol Live tour, a super-sized affair featuring last season's top eleven contestants, visits the Mohegan Sun Arena. A handful of singers will take the stage for solo performances while others will pitch in on duets. This year's road trip is headlined by winner Scotty McCreery. He'll be joined by Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams, and Haley Reinhart, Pia Toscano, Naimia Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Stefano Langone and Thai Megia. Tickets are $74.55-$84.75. 7 p.m.

SUNDAY
Day Drinking: Curvaceous Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWoww" Farley will unleash her bikini bod on the masses during a party at the MGM Grand Pool at Foxwoods. Most of the crowd will likely be nursing a two-day hangover, but don't expect that to slow down the feisty Long Island native. Cover is $20. 12 p.m.

King Without A Crown: Hasidic hip hop and reggae star Matisyahu helps wrap up the weekend at Toad's Place. He burst on the scene in 2005 with Live at Stubbs, an album that won raves from critics and received significant airplay. Matisyahu's released a handful of new discs since and the show should pull in plenty of Yalies. In February, he went back to the well, returning to Austin, TX to record Live at Stubb's, Vol. 2. Check out that album's standout track "Jerusalem" here. Tickets are $22.50. 8 p.m.
