CT Country Kings: Columbus-based country trio Rascal Flatts performs at Comcast Theatre tonight. It's their third trip to Connecticut in the past year and all of the shows have been very well attended. Fans should expect a calvalcade of hits from their past catalogue and a healthy dose of tracks from last year's effort, Nothing Like This. Sarah Evans, Justin Moore and Easton Corbin are supporting. Tickets are $30.75-$91.15. 8 p.m.
Diddy's Disciple: Machine Gun Kelly, a tattooed white rapper from Ohio who just signed a two-album deal with Bad Boy Records after years on the underground circuit, is coming to Toad's Place tonight. The signing, which reportedly involved a bidding war, caused Diddy to utter this humorously muddled compliment, "He's one of the best live performers I've ever seen come out in a minute." Sample a track here (explicit language). Ricky Rude, Bob Swags, Benny Z and M.A.R. open. Tickets are $20. Doors open at 8 p.m.
RI Rockers at The Space: The Dear Hunter, a popular indie rock quartet from Providence, is playing at Hamden's The Space tonight. The band is fronted by Casey Crescenzo, formerly of The Receiving End of Sirens, who sings, writes and produces all the music. Listen to their "Red Hands" here. Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground and O'Brother open. Tickets are $13. 7 p.m.
