The Warren Elementary School remains in lockdown as police search for a murder suspect. They believe he abandoned his vehicle in the school's parking lot, but are certain he did not enter the school.
State Police were called early Monday afternoon for a report of a gunshot victim at 26 White Birch Drive in Southbury.
At first, they thought the person had committed suicide. But witnesses soon came forward saying they saw a car speeding away from the scene.
The case is now being treated as a homicide, and the suspect is believed to be in Warren.
