Teen Ultimate Fight Club Busted

Cops busted a teen fight club in Milford after learning about planned fights modeled after "Ultimate Fighting Championship" contests, the Connecticut Post reports.

Twenty-three people, including 14 teens, were busted for fighting, the Post reports. The fights were planned to happen on the aptly named Breakneck Lane, which happens to be near a school.

Cops set up extra patrols at schools and were led to a backyard after school was dismissed.

The homeowners told cops they had nothing to do with it and didn’t know why their yard was chose, the Post reports.

"This was the first time we've seen a planned fight like this, with scheduled bouts leading to a championship,'' Officer Vaughan Dumas, the police spokesman, told the Post. "We want parents to know that this is happening and to be aware of it."
