We should have known when L.A. based philanthropic label Toms Shoes teamed up with Ralph Lauren (like three years ago) that they were what's next in preppy land. Now in late-coming retail proof: Wishlist in Greenwich picked up the line for spring. So has local nabes, Shoes N' More and Gabby.
What's more, the brand's signature slip ons are already hugely successful. Staffers at Wishlist tell us they've had an overwhelming respose since the shoes arrived last week. They've already had to re-order pairs and will be adding styles throughout the spring--silver included.
This is pretty big, as it means possible edits to the Preppy Handbook. Also (and much more importantly) a lot more kids will benefit from the company's one-for-one ethos, which provides footwear for those in need.
