More Connecticut troops are heading overseas to help support Operation Iraqi Freedom.
A send-off ceremony for 50 airmen from the 103rd Air Control Squadron is planned for Tuesday starting at 5 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the William O'Neill Armory in Hartford. The troops are being deployed to Southwest Asia.
The unit will be responsible for control of all coalition airspace in Iraq. It has deployed four times since September 11, 2001.
