Moriah Jefferson scored 22 points and Morgan Tuck added 21 points and No. 2 UConn routed Tulsa 98-60 on Wednesday in the first meeting between the programs.
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis made three 3-point shots to tie Diana Taurasi for the most in UConn history with 318. She finished with 11 points.
Freshmen Kia Nurse and Gabby Williams each added 15 points.
Jordyn Holmes led Tulsa (6-8, 1-2) with 17 points and Ashley Clark added 15.
The Huskies (13-1, 3-0 American) have won 12 straight since a loss at Stanford in November. UConn, which played four ranked teams during their first 11 games, does not play another one until their Feb. 9 showdown with top-ranked South Carolina.
Mosqueda-Lewis had not hit a 3-point attempt since making four of them against Duke on Dec. 29. She had been 0 for 5 from behind the arc since then.
She tied Taurasi's record less than a minute into the second half with a shot from the left baseline that extended the Huskies' lead to 66-30.
Her first 3 gave the Huskies a 3-2 lead, her second gave UConn its first double-digit lead at 16-5 and forced a Tulsa timeout.
The Huskies hit seven of their first 10 shots from behind the arc and led 31-11 lead midway through the first half.
They shot 64.5 percent from the field and finished 13 of 22 from 3-point range.
UConn dominated inside as well, outscoring Tulsa 54-22 in the paint. Tuck, who had 17 first-half points, led the Huskies on a 16-2 run that gave them a 51-22 lead.
There was one frightening moment in the first half. A dive for a loose ball on the right baseline led to a collision between Nurse and Tulsa's Ashley Hughes and left Hughes with two broken front teeth. The sophomore guard came back into the game a few minutes later, wearing a mouth guard, and hit a 3-pointer.
But that did little to slow UConn, which shot 68 percent from the floor in the first half and led 61-28 at the break.
Jefferson continued her hot shooting, making eight of her nine attempts from the floor and all four of her 3-point shots.
She is 13 of 16 from behind the arc in her past five games.
The Huskies improved their record to 21-0 in the two-year history of the American Athletic Conference, 24-0 counting their run through last year's conference tournament.
