Bring Back the Ska!
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are back and they'll be performing at Toad's Place in New Haven tonight. It's the band's first show in the Elm City since 2002. Doors open at 8 p.m., tickets are $30 at the door. Tickets will sell out quickly, that's the impression that I get.
On The Road Again
Gregg Allman, co-founder of the Allman Brothers Band, will be at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield tonight. It's his first solo tour since being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the singer/songwriter/keyboardist/guitarist is fired up for it.
Magic and More
Take a Sea Family Tour on one of the tall ships at Mystic Seaport this week. You'll be able to hear the stories of sailors, captains and their families that were at sea during the holidays. At noon, you can visit the magic workshop and the kids can learn Origami at 2:15 p.m.
