7/13: Monday Night Music and Mics

The question should be "What am I NOT going to do tonight?"

Want to delay the start of the work week? Don't we all?  So let's!

We'll start at The Space in Hamden, where you can enjoy an evening of local music.

Dean Purificato, Craig Dandria, Nicole Frechette and Life on Hold (all from right here in the Nutmeg State) provide your fill of pop, country, acoustic, folk and everything in between.

The show starts at 7, and it's just $10 to get in.

Want to take the stage yourself?

Tonight is karaoke night at McKinnon's Irish Pub.  To be honest, after you hear Irish Pub, you shouldn't need the karaoke machine, but I'm sure it's there. (I call "Endless Love".)

Finally, we're staying in Hartford for the Monday Night Jazz Series at Bushnell Park.

The evening features the Dezron Douglas/Lummie Spann Quintet at 6 and the Taeko Fukao trio at 7:30 (now that's a dangerous name for a trio!).  After that, there's a Jam session over at Black-eyed Sally's.

Here's the best part... it's FREE!

Enjoy your Monday!
