It's a big night at the ballpark in New Britain tonight, but there won't be any baseball.
The Bob Dylan Show is coming to New Britain Stadium.
The concert features Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, in a reprise of similar concerts the pair have played at Yale Field and Dodd Stadium. This time around, they're teaming up with John Mellencamp.
You can expect plenty of classic favorites from the triple bill, and even some new music.
Parents listen up, this is your chance to get your kids into real music. Children under 14 get in free with each adult ticket holder. Adult tickets are $67.50, and the show starts at 5:30.
There's also a live music at Elizabeth Park in Hartford. Island Girl is performing Carribean music. It's totally free and if it rains, head in to the Pond House.
And hey, how about some food!?
Head to any of the plethora of Max Restaurants, (let me see, there's Max Amore, Downtown, a-Mia, Tavern, Oyster Bar, Burger, Fish, Trumbull Kitchen, and I'm sure there's at least 15 or 20 others) tonight to enjoy a great three-course menu for only $24.95. Now that's fine-dining at a reasonable price. And they're not even paying me to say that!
