6/23: Dead Bodies, Funny Bones and Open Mic

Who says you can't enjoy the summer indoors?!  If the rain has you down, you can still find plenty of indoor things to do on a Tuesday night.

If you want to get a look at what you're made of, head to Foxwoods for the Bodies Revealed exhibition.  It features real human specimens, both whole and partial, that have been dissected and preserved.  Visitors can get an up-close look at all the bodies systems.  Exhibition hours are Sun.-Thu., 10 a.m.-8 p.m., with the last ticket sold at 7 p.m.; and Fri.-Sat., 10 a.m.-10 p.m., with the last ticket sold at 9 p.m.

Looking to laugh away the rainy day blues, head to Hartford for Tuesday night comedy at The Russell on Pratt Street.  Live stand-up comedians will tickle your funny bone.  The event also features prize giveaways and drink specials all night long.

If you can't laugh away the blues, how about strumming it away?  Jump in the car and check out acoustic open mic night at the Georgetown Saloon on Main Street in Redding.

Enjoy your Tuesday!
