6/9: Organs, Oprah and the Outdoors

Ew. Ew, ew. Ew, ew, ew.  This isn't my cup of tea, but you may be able to satisfy the 10th grade biology student inside you with a trip to see the Bodies exhibit at Foxwoods.  Real human bodies, captured in motion, preserved through the magic of, well, just go see it, if you can stomach it.  Want to see some pictures?  Click here.

Oprah's coming to the Bushnell. Okay, not really.  But her company's producing "The Color Purple" starting tonight.  It may not be a Billy Elliot, but the fantastic show has earned 11 Tony nominations!  And it looks like there are tickets available for as little as $25 for tonight's show at the Bushnell: Click here.

Our friends at BlogStamford tell us about a new BYOB Thai restaurant, that given the owner's history, may be worth the drive.

Feeling classy?  Take a drive to East Hampton and find Angelico's Lakehouse Restaurant, which is offering a "Legends of Italy Wine Dinner" Tuesday night for $55 per person, all inclusive.  The dinner is held outdoors in the garden overlooking a lake.  Sounds lovely.  And who doesn't like sipping summer wines by the water?

Finally, in case you missed it yesterday, here's the NBCConnecticut.com guide to the summer's best outdoor dining

Now if only we could do something about the weather...
