What You're Doing Tonight: May 28

We're starting your Thursday off by tickling your funny bone.

One of the hottest comedians around is making a stop in Connecticut.  Loni Love is starting a 4-night stretch at The Funny Bone in Manchester tonight.

If you don't recognize the name, you've probably seen her face.  In the past few years, she's appeared on just about every TV show on just about every TV channel.  She's a regular on E!'s "Chelsea Lately," and made appearances on "The Tonight Show" and VH1's popular "I Love..." series.

In 2007, she was named one of Comedy Central's top 20 comics to watch.

You have 6 chances to see Ms. Love over the next 4 days.  Tickets are just $15, and dinner is available at all performances.  Tonight's show starts at 7:30.

Hartford Stage's latest production debuts tonight: Dividing the Estate tells the story of a Texas matriarch, who's determined not to divide her 100-year-old estate, despite her family's declining wealth.  Of course, her three children have other plans.  Sibling rivalries, and old resentments quickly surface in the late Horton Foote's play about a hilariously dysfunctional family.

The play runs through July 5, with tickets ranging from $28-$57.  Showtime tonight is 7:30.

Finally, here at WYDT, we're fans of "crawls" of all kinds, from babies to pubs.  In Hartford tonight, you can be a part of the city's first annual Culture Crawl, sponsored by the Greater Hartford Arts Council.  It's a chance for you to enjoy art, live entertainment, drink specials and much more.

Participating venues including the Russell, Agave Grill and the Tavern Downtown, just to name a few.

Tickets are $25 or $50.  The crawl starts at 5:30 at the Greater Hartford Welcome Center on Pratt St.

Enjoy the Culture!
