What You're Doing Tonight — April 20

In the mood to unwind after work? How about heading to Trumbull Street in downtown Hartford. 

Trumbull Kitchen is hosting a special dinner tonight. It pairs up a hearty cuisine with the finest brews from the Opa Opa Brewing Company. The company was founded in Northampton, Massachusetts by brothers Antonio and Themis Rizos.

It starts at 6 p.m. and the cost is $45 per person. 

If you’re feeling stuffed afterward and would like to dance off all that food, go to New Haven for some pop locking.
 
Toad’s Place on York Street is hosting “Jedi Mind Tricks.” The hip-hop group with a very catchy name started out playing in a Philadelphia basement. Over the last decade, they have gained popularity and been hailed by critics as a talented group with gritty beats. These “are” the droids you are looking for. The concert starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $18. To get some, call 203-624-TOAD.
 
If you want some free entertainment, make a stop in New London at Bean & Leaf.  In the film "Landscape in the Midst."
 
Greek director Theo Angelopoulus tells the tale of two children who wander across the Greek industrial wastelands to find an irrevocably lost father. Angelopoulos' movies are known to captivate people.
