“Man V. Food” Yalie Is Hitting the Road Again

You watched him devour the atomic hot wings platter, munch on a 13-pound pizza and even take the 72-ounce steak challenge. But did you know that the "Man v. Food" host, Adam Richman, honed his culinary taste buds in New Haven

The Travel Channel show host earned a master's degree from Yale University's School of Drama (and probably grabbed a pie or two from Pepe's while he was there). But eating at eclectic establishments is only part of Richman's resume. He boasts a lifelong passion for food and "pretty much every job that one can have in the restaurant industry."

The second season takes off on Aug. 5, when Richman will set out to "travel the country in search of the best places to do some serious indulging. After hunting down the can't miss flavors ... Adam will take on the city's toughest food challenge," in the words of the show's website.

And if the show ever hits New Haven, our big question is whether the long-standing burger battle be solved or will Richman just keep eating pies on Wooster Street?
