Yes, Connecticut's a Bad State for Drivers

In case you needed verification that driving in Connecticut is bad, you now have it.

Forbes ranks our fine state the seventh worst in the country for drivers because of the infrastructure, safety, gas prices and insurance rates. To be fair, we tied with Rhode Island.

We know our gas prices are high. Gasbuddy.com ranks us fifth highest.

But Forbes also based some of its decision on the findings of the Reason Foundation, a libertarian think tank, that compiles an annual highway report. It ranks Connecticut 41 out of 50 in infrastructure.

On the upside, Forbes finds our state offers better legal protections to drivers than several other states.
