Two Arrests in Walmart Shooting

The victim got into a fight with another man in Danbury.

A shooting turned a Walmart parking lot filled with cars for the holidays, into a crime scene Thursday night. 

One man was wounded in a fight at the Newtown Rd. store, according to police.

The victim was walking to his car when Donte Hall, 31 approached him from behind and the two began to fight, police said.  During the altercation, shots were fired, wounding the victim in the upper back.

Hall and the victim had a prior dispute over a girlfriend, according to police.  The victim was taken to the hospital, but the wound was minor.

Hall was charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, criminal use of a firearm among other charges.  He was held on $500,000 bond.

Karli Hill, who drove a getaway car with Hall inside, was also arrested, according to police.  Hill, 21, faces conspiracy to commit first-degree assault and conspiracy to commit reckless endangerment charges.  She was held on $100,000 bond.
