Former East Hampton Town Manager Jeffrey O'Keefe will not face criminal charges.
The state's attorney's office was investigating allegations three female employees made of harassment.
They also looked into O'Keefe's attempt to remove police chief Matthew Reimondo. Reimondo claimed he was fired in retaliation for investigating the female workers' complaints. Reimondo has since been reinstated.
O'Keefe said in a statement that four investigations have found "no credible evidence to support" the allegations against him.
The state's attorney said the investigation is now complete and no criminal charges will be filed.
