A state trooper sustained multiple injuries when a truck struck his cruiser on Interstate 84 in Manchester on Wednesday.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. at exit 59 eastbound.
The officer was taken to Hartford Hospital and is conscious and alert, according to police.
State police are investigating. Only the HOV lane was open as of 3:30 p.m.
