Waterbury Man Killed In Crash

    A Waterbury man was killed early Saturday morning when  he crashed his car into a tree, said Police.

    Wilfred Rosado, 22, was driving his 2001 Ford Mustang on Huntington Avenue in Waterbury when police said he lost control of the vehicle. The accident occurred at 1:45 a.m.

    The Fire Department also responded to the crash and had to extricate him from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

    According to police, Rosado was the only person in the car at the time and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

    Police said they believe excessive speed was the cause of the crash.
