First Baller: Obama Hits Court at DC School

President-elect unwinds at a Washington school

He's sending his daughters to the exclusive and private Sidwell Friends School, but President-elect Barack Obama took some time out before his inauguration on the court of a Washington D.C. public school.

D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty ordered school officials to open up the Marie Reed Community Learning Center in Washington so Barack Obama could shoot some hoops Sunday, according to news station WTOP. The game lasted appproximately 45 minutes.

The early evening game capped a weekend in Washington during which the Obamas tried to settle into their new home. He will be inaugurated as President on January 20th.
