TurboCare in Manchester will be closing at the end of the year and 88 jobs will be lost, according to the state Department of Labor’s Web site.
According to its Website, the facility in Manchester at 80 Sheldon Road is TurboCare Airfoil, which is involved in the steam and gas turbine business.

According to the Journal Inquirer, the company had gone by several names over its 50 years of operation until TurboCare acquired it.
Last week, the state also received notice of 135 layoffs at Oce North America, a printing business, between Dec. 31 of this year and the end of 2013.
One hundred twenty four layoffs will be in Trumbull, 10 will be in Shelton and one will be in East Hartford, according to the WARN report.
