Police are investigating an armed robbery and assault at a Shell gas station on Hartford Turnpike in Vernon.
Police said they responded to the station at 10 p.m. on Wednesday to investigate and learned that a man with a gun assaulted the clerk and stole money from the register.
Police have released photos of the man they are looking for and ask anyone with information to call Detective Thomas Van Tasel at 860-872-9126.
