See Ballots Online Before You Vote

So you're all set to vote in Tuesday's election, but do you know what the ballot will look like when you walk into your polling place?

The state wants to make sure no one is confused by the ballots and the number of candidates running, so there is now a way for voters to look at the ballot online before they even head to the polls.

"There are as many as nine political parties running candidate for the various seats on the ballot, depending on the town and legislative district," Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz said. "This online feature is a great way to make the voting process smoother on Election Day."

Bysiewicz is also reminding voters in 15 Connecticut cities and towns that their ballots will be double-sided this year because of the number of candidates running for office. Voters can view both sides of the ballot online, and should remember to turn the ballot over when voting on Tuesday, according to Bysiewicz.
